No more IBS medication...

The FDA has asked Novartis to stop selling Zelnorm in the US. Because they are concerned about the finding in studies done. I have added links to a couple of different sources with the story. I can tell you that this is the first thing in 20 yrs of dealing with IBS that has actually helped me. But it is back to the old treatments and crossing my fingers that they help in some way. Just thought I share in case someone else hadn't seen the story yet.

My baby is going to be in High School!

We had to go to preregistration this past Monday at the high school. We took a walk around the school all 2 floors of it. It is a new school building only 3 or 4 yrs old and huge. Well huge compared to where I went to high school.

I can't believe it is possible that it is all ready time for high school. I swear it feels like just yesterday that we brought this little baby home from the hospital and in 4 months & 10 days he will be a high school freshman! We have an appt. on Apr. 24th to talk to the counselor and schedule his classes.

Aug. 9th is going to be a very hard day for this mommy. My oldest will be starting high school and our youngest will be starting kindergarten; all on the same day.

The Melting Pot

My mom was here visiting for a week so while we had a free sitter for the boys Joe and I went out to dinner. I have been dying to eat at The Melting Pot. For those that don't know what it is it is a fondue restaurant. All I can say is OH MY GOODNESS! It is definitely not cheap, but oh is the food good. Joe's grandmother & parents each gave us money for Christmas so we decided to hold on to it for something we wanted to do. It ended up costing us $120 including the tip, but definitely worth every dime. We didn't get to do anything on our anniversary which was on March 4th so we just counted this as a late anniversary celebration.

We had the Big Night out which is a 4 course meal. 1st course we had Cheddar Cheese fondue which came with bread, vegetables & apples chunks, 2nd course Joe had the California salad & I had the Chef's salad, 3rd course was Fondue Feast (tuna, shrimp, chicken, tenderloin & teriyaki beef) in Mojo style cooking and for the…

Happy St. Patrick's Day

My mom is here visiting so I haven't been spending too much time on the computer. Doing lots of shopping though.

The Lake House

I'm sure most everyone but me has already seen this one, but for anyone who hasn't GO RENT IT! I just watched it this morning and LOVED it. I am a big Sandra Bullock fan and I don't think I have ever not liked a movie that she was in.

For a little while I was afraid the story was not going to end well. It had all the markings of ending with the 2 never meeting or finding one another. It was a little sad at times, but what a wonderful love story. If all love could be so wonderful the world would be a much happier place.
