Finally some stamping done.

These 3 cards were for the card group that I go to twice a month at the LSS. Sorry for the bad photos. I really need to get a new camera. For the truck and the ship ones I used sketches 166 and 150 from Splitcoaststampers.

Paper: Stemma, Bazzill, SU, Creative Imaginations
Stamps: TAC - Old Truck & Ship Collage, Inkadinkado - My Mother's Dress, Amuse
Misc: Ribbon, Prismacolor pencils ( used Gamsol on the dress card and just straight colored the other 2)

Another book...

I finished this one a few days ago. Every now and then I look for something that is what I would call mindless reading. This would fall into that category. I enjoyed it very much though. Let me just add that this is not for young readers and if you are bothered by very descriptive sex scenes then this is definitely not for you. The setting is just after the Civil War in the wild west during the gold strike days. There is no real plot to this book, but it is after all a romance novel. Great beach or pool side reading with this one.

What's on Your Bookshelf?

I have decided to share my love of books with all my blog readers. Since the age of 3 I have been an avid reader and book lover. I have set a personal goal of reading 1 book per month and so far I have not done that this year.

I have very eclectic taste in reading material. I have been know to read everything from the classics to trashy romance and every genre in between. Each Saturday I will posting my thoughts on books that I have currently read & some that I have read in the past.

What's on your reading list?

I just finished reading this book a couple of days ago. I have to say that it does start out a little slow, but get much better as you read on. There are parts of this story as you get on into the book that I do not remember from reading Gone with the Wind, so I find myself wanting to go back and reread that now. I definitely recommend adding this to your reading list.

Changes & Cards to Share

I've been thinking I need to make some changes to my blog, not sure what they will be yet. Here are 2 cards I made for card group at the LSS. We meet every other Thursday morning and each time we get a new kit of things to use.

Papers - Bazzill, Basic Grey
Stamps - Sparkle N Sprinkle
Other - Nestibilities circles, Mays Art ribbon, Basic Grey button, felt, Prismacolor pencils.
